5 Brits Held in Iran

From The Sunday Times
April 27, 2008
Britons kidnapped in Iraq are ‘held by Iran’
Uzi Mahnaimi and Michael Smith

"Five British hostages who were kidnapped in Iraq almost a year ago are being held inside Iran by Revolutionary Guards, according to two separate sources in the Middle East and London."

While the rhetoric in Washington and the unbiased reporting of Fox News, The ratchet for a fight is coming up. With every new article coming out it seems we are surely coming to a climax of propaganda with our need to fight Iran. It's not like Iran is not asking for a confrontation, but they know have us with our hands tied behind our back. What will the Muslim countries think if the only countries we blew up in the last couple Years were Iraq, Afghanistan and soon to be Iran. Will that look like a war on Islam? Well I'm no Sociologist, but I'm sure the masses will see it that way. For those geographically handicap, all those countries touch each other. It would be an American Empire not in the middle east, but the Middle East. Iran is not Iraq. Iran has no problem killing Israeli athletes or helping to blow up US Marines in Lebanon. Or assisting in the murder of US troops in Iraq. You see Saddam, he held back, because he knew he had to. He wasn't crazy enough to try to blow us up. The most he did was pay the families of suicide bombers. He never did attacks on US. Especially since he was a friend of US. The problem is Iran is crazy. Just as George Bush said God told him to invade Iraq, the Mullahs believe it is God's desire for them to Islamize the world. So we're messing with the wrong country. If we want Armageddon to go down soon, the invasion of Iran will surely bring it. All those for war in Iran, well why not volunteer. Sign up here.

So again, how come Iran can't have nuclear weapons? For as long as Iran has been talking about blowing up Israel, Israel has been doing the same, so what's the problem with mutually assured destruction? It worked before.

To break it down in easier terms:
On both sides of the ocean. Crazy is. Crazy does.

Why Iran hates US

Because they are Crazy Persians interested in Psedo Religious Domination. I mean for no reason in 1979 they totally took over the US Embassay in Tehran, then to embarass J. Carter, they waited to he wasn't President Anymore to hand over the prisoners.

That's very much not true.
Lets get back to a familiar Topic: Oil

Iran(Persia) had a Shah, and in the early 1900's, signed a 60 year deal with the British, where the Iranians would only get 16 percent of the profit. Well one day Shah Qajar was like hey fuck this deal, I want to renegotiate. Well when you're the British Empire you don't take that shit. So a Coup d'etat occured. So they deposed him and found another Shah to replace him.Shah Reza. Well to be truthful in both World War I and World War II, the Iranian oilfields were being molded and carefully taken care of and were used in both wars to defeat the Germans. Even when Iran played both sides. Shah Raza decided to cancel the 60 year contract and had them sign another contract. Sounds peachy. Florida peachy.

Though, another shit in a shoe happened when Britain found out Shah Reza was making out with Hitler, which they then had another Shah deposed. So again the British put in another Shah, this time the just deposed one's son Pahlavi.

Though, things weren't so good. You see by 1950, the AIOC’s(Anglo-Iranian Oil Company) annual profits from Iranian oil amounted to 200 million pounds, while Iran’s share of the revenues was a mere 16 million. Well, What the fuck was this, the Iranians started to question. So the Government asked to see the accounts and records of the AIOC. The AIOC responded,"No, thanks." They then asked if the AIOC would do an equal share in the profits with Iran. The AIOC responded,"Blow me, we out." They left.

Iran was left with this huge resource, and not only didn't have any trained managers or skillsman, they didn't have any vessels to get the oil to where it had to go anyway.

You're wondering at this point, where the part America fits into this whole story. Well it's coming relax.

The Iranians went to a course of Nationalization. In 1951, they formed the National Iranian Oil Company.
Dr. Mossaddeq was a grand supporter of Nationalization and the Shah appointed him Prime Minister. With that came about a Democratically elected government.

Well the Brits flip their shits, and went begging to the Americans for help. As the only country after WW2 to be doing damn well, there help was needed badly. They asked Pres Truman for help but he was not down.

In 53, Eisenhower was elected and the Brits had a new friend. From his point of view, losing influence in Iran, would be giving influence to the Soviets. So this could not happen. So with American help, another Coup d'etat occurred. For the next 20 years, the reinstalled Shah killed millions and tortured even more, so to sum it up:

The Iranians hate US because we deposed a democratically elected government and instead installed tyranny. Our basic tenure of exporting freedom was finally found to be a fraud. Expanding freedom if its desirable for US, instead of desirable for the people under the existing tyranny, is not logical and makes the operation of implying freedom nothing more fruitful than it's market price.

You Elitist Tall Poppy Syndrome Bastard

"Elitism is the belief or attitude that those individuals who are considered members of the elite — a select group of people with outstanding personal abilities, intellect, wealth, specialized training or experience, or other distinctive attributes — are those whose views on a matter are to be taken the most seriously or carry the most weight; whose views and/or actions are most likely to be constructive to society as a whole; or whose extraordinary skills, abilities or wisdom render them especially fit to govern [1]. Alternatively, the term elitism may be used to describe a situation in which power is concentrated in the hands of the elite."

How dare you Barack Obama! How dare you!

Common Sense:

The Average Person should not be President.
The Average Person should not run the Military.
The Average Person should not be an Astronaut.
Sorry it's true.
I'm not sorry if you didn't know that already, then I'm glad you're not running.

Someone running for President should be the most arrogant person in the room. I mean who do you trust, the hubraic guy or the quiet guy who blends in the crowd? If you think Tom Smith should run the government, move to a third world country and buy your own Post. You could be Ambassador. Or Secretary of Narcotics.

Pope worries that big powers control decision-making

Apr 18 04:18 PM US/Eastern

By VICTOR L. SIMPSON

Associated Press Writer

"NEW YORK (AP) - Pope Benedict XVI warned diplomats at the United Nations on Friday that international cooperation needed to solve urgent problems is "in crisis" because decisions rest in the hands of a few powerful nations."

Welcome. Welcome Mr. Pope. You are correct. Since the beginning of time, power has rested in the few and put to the masses. This is not some 21st Century ideal. It is the basis of Society, Government and Way of life. If power was in the hands of the many, then the saying, which has become politically incorrect, "Too many chiefs and not enough Indians." would occur. So in order for society to function a smaller group has to be established to represent the views of the many. I know, a Philosophical insight in such a small dose.

Mexican Cartels and US Bars

Mexican Cartel Recruiting Hitmen
By E. EDUARDO CASTILLO Associated Press Writer
MEXICO CITY (AP)
" Hitmen tied to Mexico's Gulf cartel appear to be boldly seeking recruits by posting help-wanted signs in the border city of Nuevo Laredo, including a giant banner hung across a thoroughfare, a federal anti-drug enforcement official said Monday.
The banner appeared over the weekend in Nuevo Laredo near the border with Texas: "Operative group 'The Zetas' wants you, soldier or ex-soldier. We offer a good salary, food and benefits for your family. Don't suffer anymore mistreatment and don't go hungry."
The Zetas is the enforcement arm of the Gulf cartel."

Great. Good Old Mexico. Words cannot explain how inefficient their government is. Well maybe words can explain. When the government refuses to change course, it's people engage in activities that cause destruction for others. When more money can be made in illicit drug sales, instead of actual places of Societal Work, there is an issue. Mexico needs to realize to destroy these Cartels, it needs to start at the top. It needs to be vicious. It needs to keep an eye on its soldiers. It needs to close its Southern Border. Ha!. How ironic. Mexico has a border problem to their South as well as we do. This needs to happen. Which brings me back to what I should be talking about. The drug train starts in South America and heads North to the Primary user the US and the secondary user, Canada. So what needs to happen is some sort of thing, I cant think of the word, but something on the border, to help keep undesirable people out....what could it be......huh.....oh a wall. A giant huge wall. Well people say Walls don't work. Oh Word. During the Cold War in Berlin it sure did. It's not that I'm not a humanitarian, I just don't like my prisons filled up with people who shouldn't be here to begin with.

Bill Maher Quote Not Related sort of

On May 24, 2002, Maher told CNN's Larry King Live: "I never even knew I was half-Jewish until I was a teen-ager. I was just so frightened about the Catholics and everything that was going on there in the church -- and I was never, you know, molested or anything. And I'm a little insulted. I guess they never found me attractive. And that's really their loss."

Bill Maher last week on his show compared the Catholic Church, to the Polygamist Cults out West( your choice) and people were angry. The Catholic League was so upset at these comments. Though think about it. Catholic Priest did molest all those children and yet we still sit every Sunday in the pews wondering about all the bad stuff we did. Instead of going to church, you can just do this: Don't do bad things. Don't feed and house the Church until it gets its house in order and starts ex-communicating motherfuckers like its a fucking blue light special at K-mart.

To The Catholic League: Stop Being Like CAIR, I know they have a cool name but they're a rough crowd.

Charlie Gibson and his sidekick

After Watching the Debate, I thought to myself, Wow Charlie Gibson, you really gave it to them. Finally someone asking questions we all wanted to know and politicians doing the same aversive techniques that keeps us wondering if a third area exist in the spectrum of yes/no questions. You know a kind of dark matter.
I also was wondering, maybe I’m just too young to understand these things, but when you’re running against someone isn’t it best not to say they can win in November? I mean isn’t the point of Hillary running against Barack is to say why she is better than him. Instead of answering questions like, do you think Barack can win in November and her reply was
“Yes. Yes. Yes. I think I can do a better job, obviously that’s why I’m here.”
Hillary, you’re suppose to say something like this.“No, I do not think that he can win and that’s why I am asking democratic voters to surround me so we can take down McCain in the fall.”
Saying Yes you think he can win, then saying you can do a better job is quite a silly statement. You’re suppose to put doubt in those undecided and pull attention from those engulfed in Barack and make them wonder, huh, maybe he can’t win. Thanks Hillary for the new Barack Slogan:

Yes He Can, Even Hillary thinks so.

France has fallen

PARIS (Reuters) - French former film star Brigitte Bardot went on trial on Tuesday for insulting Muslims, the fifth time she has faced the charge of "inciting racial hatred" over her controversial remarks about Islam and its followers.

Is this for real. I mean, seriously. Yes. Seriously. How could this be. A charge of inciting racial hatred for speaking her own mind about an issue that concerns us all. In 2001, an author named Michel Houellebecq was put on trial for saying Islam,"was the stupidiest religion." Put on trial for his own opinion. Is this what this world is coming to when you're own opinion, not even your actions, but your opinions can get you penalized by the government. Though this is not all towards Islamic items either. France told Yahoo it could no longer sell NAZI related merchandise on its websites to French citizens.

The French order, which was issued last year, violates Yahoo's First Amendment rights, said U.S. District Court Judge Jeremy Fogel of the Northern District of California. Fogel's ruling blocks the League Against Racism and Anti-Semitism (LICRA) and the Union of Jewish Students, which successfully sued Yahoo in France, from enforcing a judgment against the Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company

I find myself asking the question, and wondering what you personally think about a religion, or selling merchandise from the past is a hate crime. If someone hates you because your black, Jewish, or gay, does it mean that one day that person will be on trial simply for their own beliefs? I thought the French were with US, with that whole freedom of expression ideal, but slowly they're fading....fading to what is the question. Is Opinion a crime though? It seems on the other side of the Atlantic it is, and I hope it stays there.

China- Relax

"We solemnly request that CNN, and Cafferty himself, take back the malicious remarks and apologize to the Chinese people," Jiang said at a news briefing.

Yea. Guy, we have this thing in American where we can say pretty much whatever we want. Like I can say "fuck you dude". And no one puts me in Jail. Cafferty is not going to apologize and if he does, I'll be shocked. You need to understand our ability to be able to EXPRESS OURSELVES and not fear government REPRISAL is inherited in our national identity. I do not see anyone taking that away. Well except for CAIR, but I will get to them later. China, slow down, I know you're nervous its a big show but don't let your emotions get the best of you, just to make you feel better the truth is ........well.....you'll see.

Pennsylvania, Progressing.

Well. What can I say. The state itself is a mesh of Puritan ideals who forgot to progress, as if God himself, said no cars, no phones and definitely no deodorant. Of course you have cities like Pittsburgh who also forget to move forward, but they're only 30 years behind not 200 like them Amish Folk. Though a strong Union does nothing without jobs and without jobs why pay the Union. The state wholly is no better, "Pennsylvania needs a stronger federal trade policy that levels the playing field with foreign competitors because unfair trade from China and other nations has cost the state about 78,000 jobs this decade, two labor-management coalitions said Tuesday."

Interesting. When Shit hits the fan we blame the foreigners. Easiest scapegoat, though I blame Pennsylvania. I ask them to look East. You have NY, and NJ moving forward and you're standing still. Plenty of Foreigners there. Driving through Pennsylvania is like driving through a horror movie and you hope you get to where you need to go before dark. Do you hold unto religion as what was said. Well Yeah. The Long Ago Owner of Pennsylvania, William Penn was a Quaker. There is still Quakers there. So that statement at least in the slightest way is correct. Do people with lower incomes, less education, and not many prospects cling to religion. Absolutely. Why do you think religion is so important in South America, Asia and Africa. Because due to economic as well as other social conditions, it is a comfort to know this struggle is only temporary. Same goes for the Middle East. Disgruntled Men with no Prospects of a Bright Future decide to reach Heaven sooner. Something they have in common with the folks in good ol' Penn. They blame the outsiders, in their case the Israelis, for stealing their jobs and land. The thing is, I am in Houston, but I never went to a Home Depot, where the laborers are and saw one dressed in a business suit and briefcase telling me he knows CAD or can do my accounting work. So Pennsylvania, here's your new slogan.

Pennsylvania, Progressing.

Welcome to the 21st Century.

Wal-Mart Gunnys

Wal-Mart Decides to add new gun sale restrictions to their stores at the applause from a group of Mayors Against Illegal Guns:

Wow. Walmart. What an amazing thing. Who knew you had it in you. I thought you were an evil corporation who uses PR spin to advance your agenda of the perfect business platform. Grow and destroy. In Today's New York Sun, Mayor Bloomberg says
Wal-Mart clearly shares our goals, and their commitment to public safety really is commendable,” Mr. Bloomberg said at the outset of the third annual summit of the Mayors Against Illegal Guns coalition he formed in 2006.
Wal-Mart, its great to have the mayor on your side, but there’s these groups in NYC called Unions and they don’t bend over too easily. The whole point of this gun nonsense is to establish enough support as a responsible corporate citizen, to gain entry into the NYC market and have a chance of jumping onto 20 million customers. Sweet. Yea. Super. But a release from the Local UFCW 1500 said different.
“We are eager to meet with the Mayor on this issue and to begin a dialogue so that the Mayor may become more informed on the topic before making the declaration that Wal-mart is a responsible company,” (Director of Special Projects)Purcell concluded.
Well, that sounds all nice mashed potato with gravy and a sliver of butter. But, Bloomberg goes silly.
Mr. Bloomberg suggested Wal-Mart was more than welcome. “Companies that understand that they have an obligation to the people that they sell to and the communities that they exist in are the kind of companies that we want in New York City,” he said, “and I think every city should want.”
Every City. Every Mayor at the Coalition heard this. Well if NYC is doing it we should too. Corporate Responsibility. I wonder how much business they’ll lose with all these restrictions? I bet not as much as they’ll gain by having 1 store in Manhattan. I’m no CPA, but that sounds about right.

Michelle tears it up. Priceless

Shall We

As a Democrat, I am starting to see the possibility of the donkey jumping off a cliff before November. Suicide. Hillary needs to step down or she will destroy the party. It is beginning to get ridiculous and I'm starting to think maybe Maverick McCain has something going on....Scary I know.
